2016 NCKU campus race kicks off

Tainan, Taiwan, April 16, 2016

The 2016 NCKU campus race kicks off on April 16 at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan. By 8 o'clock in the morning, nearly two thousand students, faculties, and citizens gathered at the sports field at the Kuang-Fu campus of NCKU.

The opening ceremony was presided over by NCKU President Huey-Jen Jenny Su who attended the event with students, faculties, and citizens.

President Su presents flags to the NCKU badminton team, tennis team, table-tennis team, Tae Kwon Do team, track-and-field team, and the swimming team, as they are about to attend the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games.

She encouraged students to show their sportsmanship for the honor of NCKU.

The race is divided into male and female groups in which the female run 3 km in total, while the male run 5 km.

The female team run a circle of the Kuang-Fu sports field. Then they turn to the Banyan Garden, Yun-Ping Administrative Building, Kuang-Fu gate, and eventually back to the sports field.
