【Announcement】 NCKU Encourages Working from Home for Those with Overlapping Footprint with Confirmed Case

Tainan City Public Health Bureau announced the footprint of a confirmed COVID-19 case in Tainan. Said case visited locations near NCKU campus on the afternoon of August 11, including the 7-11 convenient store and the 9x9 Stationery Store on the corner of Shengli Road and Daxue Road. Please refer to the image below for more detailed record.
 
All NCKU personnel please pay attention to the following:
 
1. If you have been notified by the Health Bureau and need to take a rapid test, please follow what you are asked to do from the Health Bureau and report to the university’s Safety Center (ext. 55555) immediately. If you have overlapped footprints but do not show any physical symptoms, the university can provide you rapid test kits for your own test.
 
2. Those who have overlapped footprints with the confirmed case or who visited the same place after the confirmed case’s visit on the same day, please refrain from entering the campus until August 23 and practice working from home. Please conduct a 14-day self-health monitoring.
 
3. Those who have overlapped footprints with the confirmed case and develop symptoms such as fever, please contact the university’s Safety Center (ext. 55555) or its Health Center (ext. 50430). The university will assist you in getting tested in the hospital.
 
4. If you don't have overlapped footprints, please be sure to take epidemic prevention measures and contact the university’s Safety Center (ext. 55555) or its Health Center (ext. 50430) whenever needed.
