The Thai delegation formed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) and leading universities visited the NCKU Academy of Innovative Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing (AISSM) on May 5th.
Aiming to promote the academic collaboration between Taiwan and Thailand, NCKU AISSM presents its exclusive education programs for semi-conductor technology to the Thai delegation and the MOE Taiwan (the Ministry of Education).
The Thai MHESI delegation was led by Professor Poolsak Koseeyaporn, the Vice Chairman of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) of Thailand, and joined by the representatives from Chulalongkorn University, Chiang Mai University, Kasetsart University, and Khon Kaen University.

Dr. Yan-Kuin SU, Dean of NCKU AISSM, presented the education programs for semi-conductor technology, and highlighted on the upcoming Summer School project in August and five academic degree programs, including the Integrated Circuit Design (PICD), the Program on Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (PSMT), the Semiconductor Packaging and Testing (PSPT), the Program on Key Materials (KMAT), and the Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing (PSSM).

NCKU, maintaining a long-standing history of academic collaboration with Thai universities, has initiated 60 agreements with 16 Thai universities since 2004, including an international hub at Mahidol University. NCKU will continue to sustain and expand the Taiwan-Thailand academic collaboration, based on four core strategies: joint research projects, international education, industry-academia collaboration, and talent cultivation.
