德國慕尼黑大學拜會成大 商討未來合作交流
LMU officials visited NCKU on June 2
 
President Meng-Ru Shen of NCKU, on June 2, welcomed President Bernd Huber and Vice President of Research Hans van Ess of The Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) with a discussion for future collaboration and a visit to NCKU Hospital and the Medical Device Innovation Center.

The NCKU-LMU collaboration opportunity in discussion ranged from exchange student programs, research cooperation and summer schools, to the Taiwan Bilingual Exchange of Selected Program (Huayu Best Program) to support international students to learn Mandarin and explore Taiwanese culture.  Dr. Jing-Wei Lee, the Superintendent of NCKU Hospital, also suggested to extend the research collaboration to medical studies and research, including cell therapy, cancer, epidermolysis bullosa, and geriatrics.

The meeting was also attended by Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Charles Lin, Associate Vice President for Research & Development, Distinguished Prof. Shun-Fen Tzeng, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Prof. Shin-Mei Kao, Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Yan-Shen Shan, Vice Dean for International Affairs, Prof. Nai-Ying Ko, Vice Dean for Research Affairs, Prof. Chi-Yih Wang, Dr. Jing-Wei Lee, Director of the Center for Quantum Frontiers of Research and Technology (QFort), Prof. Yueh-Nan Chen, and Deputy Director of QFort, Prof. Tse-Ming Chen.
